Come and join us for the launch of the 'Compass Walk' on Weds 22nd April 2015 - World Earth Day! 12.00-6.00pm in the park
Local Artist Dave Holden (www.d-map.co.uk) has been working hard to develop a series of new, measured walking and running routes around the park which have four points (North, East, South and West) one hundred metres apart, central to which is the 'compass' - a newly carved feature in the park, created out of the stump of a beech tree which had to be felled.
Making compasses from scrap
Have a go in the Gyro-Chair which spins on three axes
Enjoy circus skills and have a go yourself
Play pooh-sticks on the bridge with family and friends
Walk or run around the new measured walking routes with four points, North / East / South and West.
